Are you fostering a good culture in your work environment? As a team leader, I view culture as the environment you create and cultivate. Building and maintaining the ideal culture in a workplace or in your team takes time, consistency, and knowledge, which is why today, I will walk you through our five core values at City Chic Real Estate to help give you an idea of what works for us:

1. Give every client a five-star experience. Our top core value is providing a five-star experience for every client. This means not just delivering exceptional service but also being selective about the clients we take on. If we can’t deliver a five-star experience due to a lack of expertise in the client’s particular need or anything else, we don’t take on that client. The key takeaway here is that you should work with clients who are a good fit. That way, you can maintain a high level of service for all your clients.

2. Establish systems and checklists. Our second value is having a system where things are organized for all our team members. Real estate can be chaotic and often requires immediate attention to different issues depending on the situation. Systems, checklists, and processes ensure that the brokerage operates smoothly, like a well-oiled machine! This creates a reliable ecosystem that agents can rely on for success.

3. Show up. Our third value is to show up for yourself, your clients, and your teammates. Many believe real estate runs on autopilot, but we pride ourselves on having agents who consistently show up for their clients, their business, and themselves. Always stay present in your work.

4. Stay optimistic. The fourth value that we live by is optimism. Optimism is contagious, so it helps uplift your team members’ moods as well. Real estate can be challenging, so we want team members who are determined to see the bright side of things and move forward positively.

5. Teamwork. Teamwork is essential in achieving and maintaining success in real estate. To foster teamwork, we avoid holding competitions and awards to decrease or eliminate any competition among team members. Our primary focus is on mutual success in real estate by ensuring that every team member feels supported and valued.

Leading a team takes a lot of will, determination, and consistency. We prioritize creating a happy agent culture over a production-driven one, aiming for our agents to live happy lives while working on their dream jobs.
